FrostWire: The Latest Name in P2P File-sharing

FrostWire is now one of the new names in the file-sharing area of the internet. Just like any other P2P file-sharing application, it offers a fast download rate but can the program live up to the expectations of its users? FrostWire connects to the Gnutella network and has the same download process as LimeWire, so it has about the same download speed as the other application.

Although FrostWire and LimeWire have many things in common, FrostWire have a few good points that make it stand out from the rest. One of the most noticeable features of this program is it does not have the annoying advertisements that commonly come bundled with a freeware.

Furthermore, FrostWire is more updated and compatible with the latest operating systems such as Linux, Windows Vista, 2000, XP, Mac OS X and even Windows 7. It also comes with a chat room feature that allows its users to talk to one another. With this, peers can now give comments and reviews about the latest download to other peers.

FrostWire also has features like turbo charged downloads and optimized search results. These features can only be found in the paid version of LimeWire. The fact that FrostWire is offered free makes it more preferred by online users.
