I must admit I’ve been slow on the draw when it comes to online music and file sharing. I guess at my age (can we say a child of the 70s?) accepting new things in the way I listen to music has been slow at best. Heck, I still remember the anxiety I had just prior to giving up my precious vinyl. Nevertheless, I made the switch and soon forgot all the skips and scratches I once held a blind-eye to. A few days ago, our youngest son (all of 8 years old) was telling my wife and I about the latest online program he was using to download music. After both of us blinked, he told us to view site and see how safe and easy Ares file sharing was. Turns out he was right.

Ares File Sharing: Changing Music Downloads for the Better

Being the vintage I am, I’ve seen most of the major format changes in music recording and playback. I grew up with the vinyl LP, saw the first round of 8-track and cassette tapes, and then in the 1980s, realized (at the time) the pinnacle of music formatting, the compact disc. It wasn’t until the birth of the Internet (along with a deft prodding from my kids) that the concept of Ares file sharing software entered my reality. The mp3 format is not a stranger to me, but this concept was. My older boy told me one day, “Dad, just go view site for yourself and see how simple and extremely cool this software really is. There are so many songs you can’t be bored…ever.”

Legal Music Downloads: Putting a Damper on Large Music Labels

The old cliche: The times are a changing, is quite frankly, ringing full-bell in today’s music industry. Ever since the advent of the Internet–and the ease at which video and audio files can be both recorded and transferred electronically–the hard-copy portion of the music business, i.e. compact discs and digital cassettes, has seen a gradual, yet entirely evident, slow down. EMI, the world’s third-largest music company has already been on the record in saying that legal music downloads have played a part in sagging sales. Yes, there are problems in emi camp possibly due to music downloads and unless new marketing procedures are implemented, hard-copy music sales are apt to continue their slide.

I have been very resistant in the past to using all of the Ares technology that has been available for years. I have owned a digital camera for years and have taken thousands of pictures with it. I always had my son transfer the photos onto my computer. When he left for college I was forced to learn how to do it myself. This really surprised me and also empowered me. Last week I purchased an iPhone and set out to learn how to download music files onto it. I was really surprised, downloading iPhone music is a relatively easy affair and I will be doing it often.

Sometimes the Original Version is Just as Good

People may be wondering if ares galaxy left in the dust, or does it still hold its crown as a top P2P file sharing software. Well, the best way to find out is to compare what you can get from Ares Galaxy to what the newer versions offer. Upgraded versions can bring improvements, but sometimes they come at the expense of losing something that really worked. it reminds you of the old saying, if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. On the other hand, however, it is not a bad thing to look for ways to enhance a good product to keep it fresh and relevant.

Many people are having issues with Ares not connecting to the Ares network. This can get very frustrating indeed. People are giving up on Ares and making the move to use other – inferior – filesharing clients! This is not the answer! There is a quick and easy solution is to install the latest version of aresvista.

Technical Problem

The problem is a technical one; it is not something that is caused by anything you have done. Rather it is a problem inherent in older versions of Ares caused by a sloppy implementation of SNodes. SNodes, or Super Nodes, and the connections that are made as soon as the program starts up. These initial connections then allow Ares to find other live connections, and from there to find the other computers that have the files that you want to download on them. If these SNodes are not working, or cannot be found, then there is no way for the network to start up properly. Essentially, without working SNodes, Ares becomes useless.

The creators of Ares Vista have encountered this problem before, and they know just how frustrating it can be. One of the reasons behind the development of Ares Vista was then to solve this problem permanently. The good news for us users is that this goal turned out to be successful, and Ares Vista does not suffer the same issue.

Fluid Development

One of the attractions of Ares Vista is exactly changes like this. The developers on this program – unlike with many other commercial and free filesharing clients – are dedicated to moving with the times, fixing things that need fixing, and improving where possible. It is this dedication that makes this particular version of Ares the very top of the filesharing tree.

If you’re interested in a music download, you’re in luck. The file sharing world has come a long way since its early days. The level of speed, security and massive amount of song choices all make it a great time to get involved in the community.

There has been a surge of applications developed to satisfy the huge demand of current and new users coming into the system. While this has been great for promoting quality within the industry, it’s sometimes hard to distinguish the real players from the charlatans and the ‘has beens’ that are becoming obsolete.

Here are three things to keep in mind when looking for a place to get a music download.

Underlying infrastructure of the network

What an application is built on makes a big difference in how the program will run, how many resources it uses on your system, and how fast it will load and download files. For instance, many of the earlier file sharing programs, like LimeWire and FrostWire, were designed as java based apps, which make them much larger in size and more taxing on your pc.

In comparison, the Ares network, one of the most popular file sharing networks in existence today, is written in Delphi and uses a supernode/leaf network to distribute files. This makes it much smaller, faster and typically much more stable.

Spyware/Malware

Many of the free peer-to-peer file sharing networks will bundle their application with intrusive adware and malware. Users are subjected to annoying pop ups, unwanted monitoring of their pc activity, and advertisements at every turn. Two of the most discussed applications that take this route are Ares Destiny and BitComet.

With the abundance of file sharing applications that are free of malware or spyware, like Ares Lite and Ares Vista for example, it makes sense to go with a less invasive alternative.

Ability to stay current with the latest technology and trends

Given the rapid pace of advances in technology, and the huge massive amount of content that flows through file sharing networks, it helps to use a program that is built for the workload. Some programs, like Ares Lite, for example, were built for much smaller file sharing needs and struggle to stay relevant in this new, expanded environment.

To find the fastest, most reliable application, look for ones that stay up to date, and are fully supported by their developers. For instance, programs like Ares Vista take into account the latest Windows security issues, and the developers remain committed to providing the best user experience available.

When looking for a music download, the program you choose will make the difference between a smooth and easy process, and one riddled with problems. By keeping these points in mind, you can enjoy all the file sharing community has to offer, without the annoying, and often time consuming, experiences many users have had to endure.
