Yet another “great new filesharing option” has fizzled out before it really ever got started. The excerpt below was from a press release of just a few months ago, yet the Rhever.com website has already closed up shop.

It was reported recently that filesharing company Rhever has been calling for the entire filesharing industry to evolve. Well, part of that evolution might have happened now as Rhever recently unveiled its new premium filesharing service.

Rhever’s filesharing service is “totally legal”, putting it in direct opposition with other services, such as Limewire and Ares, which are also legal but are often used for illegal means.

The new Rhever service is being touted as something of a filesharing revolution, though we’ll reserve judgment on that for the time being. Rhever claims that its filesharing services gives users high-speed access to 25 million files.

Members of Rhever will receive 15GB of space a month. At the moment, you can sign up for a free trial.

Features include comments, ratings and previews. We’re not really sure what all the fuss is about. It all sounds like PR talk at the moment. If anyone has had any experiences with Rhever, feel free to share them.

Ares opens doors to a world of information. From published reports, to software updates, from music files to entire movies: filesharing offers the lay person access to an unprecedented library of media from which to choose. There are two major sticking points that comes with this information, though: copyright infringement and computer viruses.

Ares And Copyright Infringement

Ares and p2p software has always been – and likely always will be – surrounded by the dark cloud of copyright infringement. Some say that copyright is an erroneous law, and that it is impossible to ‘own’ data and intellectual property in the sense envisaged by the rules. Many others fully realize that copyright infringement is wrong, but they do not see sharing music, movies and other files as counting as infringement. Still further people realize the consequences of their actions but continue regardless. Whichever camp you sit in, copyright infringement is seen by many countries as against the law; the penalties are harsh and people are charged with the crime every day.

Let’s get one thing straight: Ares is not illegal. It is important to distinguish between p2p file sharing and copyright infringement. The two are not inextricably linked, and indeed the original intention behind p2p was to share freely available files in a quick and efficient manner. Of course the whole concept does lend itself to sharing music and movies files – arguably more popular than scientific reports… – but this does not mean that p2p use has to be illegal. There are plenty of music tracks and full movies out there that are 100% intended to be shared! Be careful with the files that you make available to share, make wise choices about those that you download, and all should be well.

Copyright holders that feel aggrieved by file sharing software engage in many scare tactics which they hope will warn you off using Ares. Don’t let these narrow-minded individuals divert you from the true purpose of file sharing.

Viruses and Trojans

Some Ares versions do a very good job at filtering out corrupt files, and in this process it tries to identify those that contain viruses. The later versions such as Ares Vista, Ares Ultimate and Ares Ultra all contain this indispensable feature. Virus-ridden files will typically be mislabeled to disguise their true purpose, making it difficult for you as a user to spot them before downloading. Unfortunately the nature of these things means that the warning and filtering provided by any version of Ares can never be 100% accurate.

Other users’ comments on files available to download may also warn of harmful viruses, but this also is an inaccurate science, with many users simply not realizing that they have downloaded a virus before it is too late. The normal rules about dealing with potentially dangerous files apply: if you have up-to-date anti-virus software installed, and if you keep all of your software updated, then you should be fine.

In Conclusion…

Ares is an awesome piece of software that provides joy to many thousands. There are risks inherent in using it, but with a bit of careful consideration these should not prove to be a barrier to its enjoyment. So, go, download and be happy!

Programs to download music are becoming more and popular with older web users, and Ares Vista in particular has picked up many older fans thanks to its ease of operation and seamless setup. Gone are the bad old days of complex system configurations that were required before you could start downloading: Ares Vista is as quick and easy to install as anything I’ve seen.

Many programs to download music have struggled with the new security systems utilized by Microsoft in their Windows Vista software. These security features blocked the normal operation of filesharing programs and rendered the download of music and other files completely impossible. Fortunately, some quick thinking software developers quickly spotted this potential problem and released Ares Vista which solves the problems created by Microsoft’s software.

Some programs to download music are difficult to use; they’re slow, clunky, and incredibly complex. Old favorites like Ares Galaxy were notoriously difficult to use, updates to problems came slowly if at all, and the customer support was nonexistent. Several versions of Ares have been released since Ares Galaxy first entered our lives 7 years ago, and many take the original concept and make dramatic improvements. Some versions have failed to make any improvements at all, and some have even taken a few steps back, but that is unfortunately the nature of these things. Hopefully these weaker members of the club will be slowly left to die.

Programs to download music have approached the problem of improving on the original Ares Vista in a variety of ways. Ares Vista, as noted earlier, has made attempts to solve the problems introduced by Windows Vista’s security changes; another example is Ares Ultra which has succeeded in being the power user’s choice of Ares, providing a powerful search and other features useful for the advanced user.

Ares Vista and its peers are the new generation of Ares music download programs. It is sad to the see Ares Galaxy and the old guard fall so unceremoniously by the wayside, but this is the only reward for software that cannot stand the pace of the modern world. Whatever your computing background, Ares Vista will make you feel at home downloading music. Enjoy!

Free Ares software is all around us. People who previously had very little experience with computers or filesharing are quickly being dragged into the world of filesharing, of free music, movies and games, and of the freedom that comes with an abundance each. The surge in popularity of filesharing has been such that the official number of free music downloads is set to surpass the number of purchases (online and off) in 2010. The unofficial number is reported to be much higher already.

Free Ares software facilitates filesharing, giving you access to a huge network of people who are sharing and downloading files. Transferring of music files was the first and perhaps most compelling reason for using Ares software, but recent advances in the technology behind the filesharing client (the software that is on your computer) and the filesharing network (the part that gathers together all of the different people that are using the software) have meant that larger files can be shared with seamless ease.

Free Ares software, then, has quickly become the one-stop-shop for all your filesharing needs. From music to movies, from games to ebooks, everything you want is here to get collected, stored and shared.

Free Ares software has a number of notable variants. Ares Vista is one recently re-released version. It was initially designed to get around the security problems inherent in the Vista version of the Windows operating system, but now it is being recognized as the industry standard filesharing utility. Ares Vista offers exciting features such as a filter to remove any corrupt downloads, and also uses intelligent scheduling to ensure the fastest connections are given top priority. There other good examples of Ares software, but we feel that Ares Vista is currently the top dog in its field.

Downloading files can be fun, it can certainly help to keep your money in your pocket where it belongs. Above all programs like Ares Vista have made the whole process trouble free and easy for even the most technology shy people.

Download Aries and you will be on the way to being able to share all sorts of electronic files in no time at all. If you want free music, movies, games, books, and pretty much anything else that you can think of, then filesharing with Aries is the way forward.

To download Aries, you can just pay a visit one of the many sites offering free downloads of the Ares software. Be careful: some versions of Aries contain spyware, adware, and other nasty little parasites. Fortunately there are a few shining examples of Aries software (Ares Vista is one notable example) that do the job they were intended for without infecting your system with ‘a little present’ that you really don’t want.

If you download Aries then you will soon see how easy it is to use. In fact it is this ease of use that has attracted users to the Ares suite for over seven years now. Our favorite implementation of Aries has to be Ares Vista, which has all the benefits of the better versions of Ares, with the added advantage of being thoroughly capable of dealing with the sometimes confusing security features of Windows Vista. Other versions of Ares struggle with this technical aspect, rendering them useless.

When you download Aries you will be met with a whole world of opportunity. This might sound like a terrible cliché, but imagine being given free access to roam around all of the libraries in all the countries in the world. Not only does this huge library contain all the books you could ever want, it also houses the world’s largest collection of music, movies and games. If this sounds like somewhere you could happily get lost in and never come out, then you will do well to install Ares Vista or one of its sister versions sooner rather than later.

Ares Vista has an impressive pedigree, but what is more impressive is the bright future it is destined to enjoy.

Music download software has seen an exponential rise in popularity over the last few years. People have found that building up and sharing an extensive catalog of their favorite music tracks is an easy and thoroughly enjoyable hobby. And who can blame them? The price of music CDs is rising, and the phenomenally overpriced online music stores like iTunes don’t seem too eager to reduce prices either. All this for something that many people – including some of the artists, we may add – feel should be completely free in the first place.

Music download software has come a long way in the seven years since it arrived on the home scene. Ares Galaxy was one of the first applications that allowed people to share their music files over the hugely popular Gnutella network. Ares Galaxy was a mixed blessing: in many respects it lacked in many vital areas, but at the same time the original designers made the software freeware, meaning others could take it, improve on the design, and re-release it as their own.

Music download software needs to be easy to use for everyone. This is where Ares Galaxy failed miserably. The software was designed by technical wizards for technical wizards, and if you weren’t part of the clique then you were going to struggle to use it. Almost as soon as Ares Galaxy became freeware, the ‘improved’ versions started appearing, and the rationale behind many was to improve on the ease of use and product support. As is the way with these things, many of these ‘improvements’ were actually several steps back. Some, though, were shining examples of how Ares Galaxy should have been designed.

Music download software has moved quickly since then: the opening up of the market meant more competition and increasingly better products. Newer software has sought to deal with newer challenges, and the choice for file sharers improves as poorer quality efforts sink, whilst the true winners swim.

Software such as Ares Vista, Ares Ultimate and Ares Ultra have each succeed in setting the bar sky high when it comes to solving the particular problems for which each were designed. In particular Ares Vista’s recent re-launch has seen it being re-engineered to take on board years of user input. The peoples’ file sharing software? Quite possibly, yes. Ares and its many variations have got a long, happy, time ahead of them.

Download free music and you are entering a whole world of opportunity. Free music is everywhere on the web these days, and all attempts by those who would prevent us from enjoying music that we would otherwise be able to download are being frustrated. Software like Ares Vista – along with earlier Ares versions still used by some people – has meant that music downloads have been brought to the masses. And what a hit it has been.

“I download free music” was previously something that could only be said by those people capable of the technical wizardry necessary to use all the complex programs required for simple file sharing. The complexity – and the relative unavailability of the necessary software – meant that filesharing was the reserve of an elite few. Ares has brought that software into the reach of even the most casual computer users. This explosion in use of Ares has made the Ares software even more appealing due to the larger number of files available; the more appealing it becomes, the more people get involved, and suddenly we have a very satisfying upward spiral that benefits everyone.

If you download free music with Ares Vista then you are well on your way to becoming an integral part of the Ares system. You are a spoke in the wheel that allows people all over the world to share music, movies, books and all kinds of files. Ares – and the technology behind it – is changing the way the music industry works. Some people (mainly those with the most to lose) will say that this change is for the worse, but it is a change nonetheless, and it seems to be moving inexorably forward.

Download free music with Ares Vista and you are joining an important family of people that want to share files. Ares Vista is not about taking; it’s about giving back, too. The whole concept behind Ares – in fact any peer-to-peer filesharing system – relies on there being a critical mass of users that want to give their stuff away. Ares started with music files, but has grown out of that and now is more than capable of handling almost any file type, size, or genre.

Free music downloads have become widely available to many through the use of Ares file sharing software. Ares has been around since 2002, and in the seven years since its inception it has taken file sharing from the techno-ghetto to comfortably within the main stream. The ease of the use of the Ares software, combined with the huge amount of both positive and negative publicity that file sharing receives, means that almost everyone knows about – and is able to use – Ares software.

Free music downloads are the main benefits of using the Ares software. From being an excellent tool for downloading free music, the Ares Vista version of the program added more features (see here: Music Download Program: Ares Vista), which are also very useful to the users in the Ares network. Ares Vista can be used for transferring and receiving different types and sizes of files in the least possible time.

Free music downloads certainly have not had an entirely easy ride of late. Increased legislation allowing official bodies to sift through our Internet usage habits have been passed, and these are transparently designed to hit illegal file sharers where it hurts. File sharing is not all about pirated movies and stolen albums, though: the original concept of peer-to-peer sharing on which Ares is based was a tool for large – entirely legal – files to be shared quickly and efficiently amongst those wanting them. To tar all file sharers with the same ‘pirate’ brush is as irrational as saying that everyone who drives an Audi is a bad driver.

Free music downloads are available across the Ares network, and anyone running Ares Vista – or any of the other Ares variants – on their computer will quickly and easily be able to locate, download and listen to them. This ease of use is what has made Ares so great; it is also what makes its opponents foam at the mouth every time peer-to-peer is mentioned. Ares is here to stay.
