There are so many different versions of the Ares file sharing software that sometimes it can be a little difficult to know which one is best. A little background on one of the pieces of software might help you decide whether or not – most likely not – you can find time for it.

The software in question is Ares Destiny, one of the newer entrants into this particular market. Ares Destiny is – by most accounts – a run of the mill Ares implementation. At best it is probably mediocre, but there is nothing particularly bad about the way its done.

So what has made me single out Ares Destiny as the subject of this particular article? The fact that it comes with friendly neighborhood spyware, for one. Dealio is the name of this spy ware and, believe me, this is a real pain to get off the system. I guess the designers of Ares Destiny must have decided that this was a good way to make money from their product, but it is most certainly not endearing them or their product in the file sharing community. There are plenty of posts like around telling us how bad Ares Destiny and Dealio are.
